Medico Legal
We would like to introduce ourselves as a new medico-legal reporting business
located in Dorset. Dorset Orthopaedic Clinic Medico-legal is run by established
Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultants located at BMI The Winterbourne Hospital in
Dorchester. We will be working together in a partnership to provide a fast, reliable
and efficient medico-legal reporting service.
Our expertise covers all aspects of General Trauma & Orthopaedic conditions,
including soft tissue spinal injuries (low velocity Impacts), shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand,
hip, knee, ankle and foot injuries. The report will be directed to an appropriate
subspecialist surgeon.
We will be able to offer an appointment within 10 days of instruction and will return
the completed reports within 2 weeks. We feel we offer an excellent local alternative
to medico-legal reporting agencies your firm may currently use.
We are fully up-to date with the Woolf reforms and the subsequent changes this has
made to report compiling. Our reports are fully compliant with the Civil Procedures
Rules, 1998 - Part 35, and subsequent Practise directions 35 (October 2009).
